ABOUT ORACLE BUYING SUN

1. What do you think is the effect of Oracle buying Sun?

Oracle is a profit driven company as well. They have been a secretive company for so long, and as far as I know they are not really for open source. A deal this big has a lot going on but there's an advantage an disadvantage. For me there's no any effect as far as my concern. Maybe they can improve more the Java.

2. What do you think would Bill Gates do about this?

My opinion on this concern, maybe Bill Gates will restrict the Oracle's system to the system of Bill Gates.

3. To you as a student using Java, how will this later affect your learning on the language?

For me, maybe it can affect my learning on the language maybe they will upgrade the language system then we the old user will make a tutorial again.
